Step 1: Decide on the Design of a Fiberglass Pool
The first step involves working together on a pool design – we'll need to discuss the size, shape and position of your fiberglass pool while also considering your landscape and other property details. We'll also discuss customization options and additional features, such as steps, waterfalls, tanning ledges, etc.
Step 2: Mark the Outline of the Pool
According to plan, we mark the pool outline and excavate the area, precisely checking the depth and other measurements, and ensuring a level base. We also ensure there is enough extra room for plumbing and accessories.
Step 3: Lay Gravel for a Solid, Smooth Surface for the Pool Base
Next, we lay and compact gravel for a solid pool base and begin any necessary excavation.
Step 4: The Pool Shell is Placed
After the fiberglass pool shell is delivered, the shell is carefully positioned. Everything is checked to make sure the pool is perfectly levelled, placed correctly, and there are no gaps or other issues, and then the area around the pool is backfilled.
Step 5: Pool Equipment Installation + Backfilling Around the Pool
Plumbing is then installed – we'll install your chosen pool system after guiding and advising you on a system that best suits your needs. We fill the pool as we backfill to ensure equal pressure and stability on each side of the fiberglass pool walls. Rebar is attached around the outside for added strength, and concrete is poured.
Step 6: Landscaping + Clean Up
We can then discuss your landscaping design needs, such as paver coping to surround the pool, decking, or landscaping to make your pool look and feel complete. We'll clean up everything to ensure your property is spotless, and we'll also coach you on how to take care of your fiberglass pool. Many homeowners appreciate its low maintenance!
